Boating Education Classes

Our trained volunteer members share their knowledge with the public in giving a number of boating education classes. Our flotilla participates in the following continuing education program:

Assabet Valley Center for Continuing Education "Assabet After Dark" program, with classes held at the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School

Spring 2008 Schedule

Our Spring 2008 schedule offers Safe Powerboating, Sailing Fundamentals (with America's Boating Course), and Basic Coastal Navigation. Click on the following links to go right to the the "Assabet After Dark" course information, which includes instructor, date, and cost information. Registration for all classes is done through the "Assabet After Dark" program.

Safe Powerboating (Boating Skills and Seamanship)
9-weeks, Thursday nights 7-9PM, starts March 6, 2008
(no class on April 24)

Sailing Fundamentals (with Americas Boating Course)
10-weeks, Thursday nights 7-9PM, starts March 6, 2008
(no class on April 24)

Basic Coastal Navigation
9-weeks, Monday nights 7-9PM, starts March 3, 2008
(no class April 21)
